The value for money was excellent and the room was very comfortable with big spacious pods and a comfortable bed. The location was fantastic, right near the clock tower, and the staff were super welcoming and helpful.
The breakfast selection could have been better with a wider variety of options.

Clean, peaceful building design, great location near attractions. Lovely staff, except for one person. Private room with AC and bathroom, clean and comfortable. Stairs within room, may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Sister pub has tasty Colombian burger.

We wanted to like this place, but it fell a bit short. From the pictures online, Clock Hostel & Suites looked really neat. the location in the Historic Center was absolutely perfect, within walking distance of key attractions. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, including a grocery store across from the hostel. the bed areas are air-conditioned and the cabins offer privacy. We also enjoyed the free beer at the nearby pub and found José, the staff member, to be super kind and helpful. The breakfast provided was good for the price and there were day and night tour options available. Cons: Couldn't stay longer ⏰.

The hostel had an excellent location in the heart of the historic center, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries or concerns. Additionally, the hostel provided continental breakfast, which was a convenient and cost-effective way to start the day. The cleanliness of the accommodations and bathrooms were impressive, and the spaciousness of the bathrooms was a pleasant surprise.
The dorm rooms were quite cold, and the noise level during the night could be disruptive, especially with many beds in one room. It would have been helpful if the hostel provided towels instead of requiring guests to rent them.

the highlight of my stay was the private boxes for beds, which provided a sense of privacy in a hostel setting. the staff, particularly Laura at the reception, was extremely professional and helpful. the cleanliness of the hostel was top-notch, thanks to the great job done by the cleaning staff. the personal sleeping space in the dormitory was spacious, with high ceilings and working air conditioning. the level of privacy I had in my bunk, despite sharing it with 15 other people, was fantastic. Cons: Almost perfect! 😄.

Accommodating and helpful staff. Private pods with comfortable mattress and nightstand. Private bathrooms with toilet and stall in the same room. Clean facilities despite high usage. Excellent location in San Diego and close to Getsemani. Privacy provided by the hostel. Chilled out atmosphere, not a party hostel. Nice and cool kitchen and rooms with AC
Nothing all excellent.

Comfortable beds, nice security boxes, overall pretty quiet sleeping situation. Able to switch locations if you like. Location is right in the middle of everything. Nice cold AC. Nice hot jacuzzi area where you can play your own music if you ask. 24-hour store right across the street for most necessities. Great staff! Most knew English and always willing to help.
Felt really comfortable, no complaints whatsoever.

The Clock Hostel & Suites is conveniently located right in the heart of the historic center. You can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the street until 3 am and easily access nearby restaurants, boats, and other attractions. the hostel offers private double rooms with comfortable beds and the option to have your own space. the bathrooms are well-maintained and the common areas, including a jacuzzi area and lounge, are perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
There were some issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms due to the high number of people using them.

The staff were really accommodating and super helpful with any questions I had. the place looked exactly as I imagined with private pods and comfortable mattresses. the private bathrooms were a deciding factor for me and I appreciated that the stall and toilet were in the same room. the location was excellent, with a quick walk to any location in the area. a great experience!
The communal dorms had limited numbers of loos and showers, so there were sometimes waits. the lack of hot water was a common issue in the area.

The privacy of the beds was amazing! Each dorm bed had its own curtain, providing a sense of privacy for light sleepers like myself. the bathrooms were clean and spacious, and I appreciated the presence of a donation box for shampoos and other toiletries. the WiFi worked really well, which was a great bonus. Lastly, the location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the old city.
Felt like at home, no complaints.
